Cheli & Peacock Mobile Safaris

Solo end-to-end brand film for Cheli & Peacock — one of Kenya’s most respected high-end safari operators. The brief: an 84-second piece that showcases the mobile-camp offering across multiple locations without losing the intimacy that’s the brand’s selling point.

I ran the whole production: scouting the camp locations with the operator, scheduling around guest occupancy, filming aerial and ground coverage solo, editing, grading, sound-mixing, delivering. Single-operator workflows like this are how clients at this tier get a film that holds at broadcast quality without paying for a five-person unit.

Approach

Drone coverage at altitude for the camp-in-landscape establishing shots; ground coverage on a Sony FX6 + RS3 gimbal for camp interiors and guest experience; long-lens wildlife from the safari vehicles for the bridging beats; restraint on the cut so the camps’ own atmosphere does the work.
