Cinema-grade aerial across natural-history and commercial.

CAA-licensed since 2017 (PfCO UAS 9543). DJI Inspire 3 for RAW-spec broadcast, Mavic 3 Cine for fast-deploy aerial. Aerial-to-aerial coordination, low-altitude wildlife follows, coastal and landscape, dawn and dusk.

Integrated into the BBC Natural History Unit, Silverback Films, Plimsoll Productions and Offspring Films broadcast workflows. RED-camera-tier deliverables in the same edit timeline as the lead unit.

02 · Long-lens cinematography

Patient, ethical wildlife coverage.

Sony 200-600mm and 70-200mm on FX6 / FX3 / A7R5 bodies. Multi-day waits across the Mara, Tsavo East, Samburu, Amboseli and Mount Kenya. Comfortable on extended NHU schedules — long-lens-plus-drone is the standard broadcast workflow at this tier.

Wildlife ethics are non-negotiable: respectable distance, no behaviour-affecting proximity, no bait. The clients who book me back the most cite the proximity discipline first.

03 · Film fixing

KFCB-registered local film agent.

On-the-ground production lead for international natural-history, broadcast and commercial crews coming into Kenya. KFCB film permits typically arrive in 24–48 hours. KCAA and KWS drone permits run in parallel. Then it's location scouting, crew sourcing, vehicles, accommodation, security, customs, carbon offsetting.

When it makes sense, I run as fixer-and-shooter — primary cameraman embedded inside the unit. That's how the Silk Road Visual exhibition project ran across the 2025 production block.

04 · Commercial & brand production

Solo end-to-end commercial production.

One of Kenya's most dynamic film-production companies, known for capturing stunning cinematic imagery that showcases the country's rich biodiversity, landscapes, and culture. Specialising in visually compelling documentaries, promotional films, and infomercials.

For commercial briefs I work solo from concept to delivery — producer, director, DOP, drone operator, post — so the rig stays lean and the budget goes to screen rather than to crew overhead. Recent commercial deliverables: Kasas Air Charter (2026), Cheli & Peacock Mobile Safaris (2023), Wildlife Works profile film (2024).

05 · Stock footage

1,200+ broadcast clips and growing.

The stock archive lives on a dedicated property: stock.highlyvisual.com. All footage shot in 4K or higher by a CAA-licensed drone operator and camera operator. Aerial Archive and Long Lens Wildlife are the two main showcases — both with downloadable watermarked previews. Discounted rates for African productions, students and NGOs.

Cinema-grade rental — sister business.
